Biography
Liu Huigen is currently an associate researcher of the School of Astronomy and Space Science at Nanjing University. He was born in 1984 and is a member of the Communist Party of China. He received his doctorate in celestial mechanics and astrometry from Nanjing University. His research focuses on the formation of exoplanets in the protoplanetary disk, the influence of open cluster environment on the formation and configuration of planetary systems, the statistical characteristics of exoplanets and the search for exoplanets with occultation method. Over the past five years, he has published more than 10 papers, ten of which are included in SCI. At present, he is in charge of projects supported by the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation and by the Young Scientists Fund of Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and he has participated in several key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
